Cover for Custom made 5E3 aka Fender Tweed Deluxe
I had a custom amp made for myself based on the classic Fender 5E3 and wanted a good amp cover. After poking around all over the web, I went with a Coveramp....and glad I did. I went with the brown leatherette with double padding and side pocket. This cover is seriously well made. The double padding is thick and firm...but not bulky. The quality of the leatherette is some of the best I've seen. It's tough, sturdy and thick. This material will stand up to use. The side pocket is also just as tough and sturdy, it's NOT going to rip or separate if I over stuff it. The stitching is excellent...not a weak seem to be found. Finally, appearance. It looks great. I wanted something that also looked good since I keep this amp in the den. It's not screaming AMP sitting among your furniture. The other reason I picked brown....matched tweed and my furniture best. I know buying anything off the net can be a crapshoot....and the cover wasn't cheap. That's also the point....this cover isn't cheap....it's high quality. Worth every penny since, short of taking a knife to it....this cover is going to look as good as the day I got it as it well the day they lower me into the ground.
Typical middle aged suburbanite guitar player with top tier gear...and barely passable talent.
